Though my work has always held a strong sense of line work, recently I have dropped my pencil and have taken up permanent markers, specifically, Sharpies. I have begun to examine my face. Many worthwhile studies have been sketched, permanently. I don’t pay much attention to the amount of work done within my border, rather what it does for me.
