do you use a ruler or other instrument for your lines ? or do u do it free handed ?
I definitely use tools...rulers, circles, etc. for the initial drawing in pencil When I go over everything with Sharpie I do not use the rulers, just use the lines I drew in pencil.

hey i became a fan and i wanted to say that i love your artwork. i was wondering if you could give me any tips on how to color in large spaces do i do lines that make up the shape or do i color in by doing little circles?? andif you could please give me some feedback and tips once i upload my photos : )
Hi, somehow I missed this comment till now. Sorry. Re: lg spaces without lots of lines... it's important not to put a lot of pressure on the marker and try to be consistent in the pressure that you do use. If you overlap every previous line you will have a darker line in between each. Practice somewhere a bit. It's impossible to avoid it completely. If that's an issue, you may want to go mixed media and do large areas with paint and smaller details with marker. You can also fill digitally.
