Add Strokes To Your Game
Oak Brook, Ill.- Sharpie, the popular brand of permanent markers widely
known as the autograph pen of choice and a favorite among golfers to
indelibly mark their golf ball, is teaming up with the PGA Tour's Chad
Campbell to show how links lovers can ADD strokes to their game. What?
"I have been using Sharpies to mark my golf ball for what seems to be my
whole life," said Campbell, who along with PGA Tour's David Toms,
comprise Sharpie's PGA Tour team. Both Chad and David were members of
the 2004 Ryder Cup team. "But when Sharpie showed me the new Sharpie
Retractable and Sharpie Mini, I have been adding more strokes to my game
- marking the golf ball that is."
No More Caps To Fumble With
Sharpie Retractable markers are an eight-color fine point permanent
marker series that require no caps and can be operated by simply using
one hand - just click, mark and swing away. Golf ball in one-hand and
marker in the other - it's just that easy. Protected from drying out
using a leading edge Safety Seal ValveTM system that closes tight when
the marker tip is retracted, the markers use quick drying, nontoxic ink
approved by the Arts and Crafts Materials Institute. Sharpie
Retractable is the first retractable marker from the brand.S
Sharpie Retractable markers are available in eight colors: black, red,
blue, green, orange, berry, lime and turquoise. The suggested retail
price for 2-, 3-, 4-, and 8-packs is $4.89, $7.33, $9.78, and $19.56,
respectively.
A Miniature Marker For Golf
Individuals wouldn't expect to find the words "miniature" and "golf" at
this year's PGA Merchandise Show. But they will be surprised to find a
new series of Sharpie permanent markers called Sharpie "Minis," perfect
for marking your golf ball. Sharpie Mini markers have a cap clip, which
allows the golfer to attach it to a golf bag or key chain and a fine tip
for bold color. Half the size of a regular Sharpie Fine Point marker,
these markers use quick drying, nontoxic ink approved by the Arts and
Crafts Materials Institute.
Sharpie Minis are available in twelve colors: Black, Red, Blue, Green,
Lime, Berry, Purple, Aqua, Orange, Burgundy, Plum, and Navy. The
suggested retail price for 4-, 8- and 12 -packs is $5.93, $11.73, and
$17.78, respectively.
