"How do you use your Sharpie?" The answer - it's changing. Sharpie, the
world's most popular fine point marker, introduces its first Chisel Tip
allowing individuals to make a variety of line widths using a single
versatile permanent marker. The marker's wedge-shaped point, better
known as a 'chisel,' offers both broad line and, when held sideways,
fine line capabilities.
"Whether you're making posters, labeling cardboard boxes or marking a
measurement, the Sharpie Chisel Tip is great for school or home
projects," said Bob Daenen, senior brand manager for Sharpie. "The
chisel tip is durable and marks on virtually any surface, like
cardboard, wood, metal, glass, and of course, paper."
In addition to broad or fine line capabilities, the new Sharpie Chisel
Tip features a sturdy clip, so it fits comfortably in a pocket. In
addition, its ergonomically designed oval shape improves control and
eliminates roll.
Sharpie Chisel Tip markers come in four permanent, non-toxic (AP seal of
approval) and waterproof colors: black, red, blue and green. They are
available in one-, two-, three- and four-packs.
The Sharpie brand of permanent markers, invented in 1963, now includes
new Sharpie Chisel Tip; Liquid Fine Point Sharpie; Sharpie Twin Tip;
Super Sharpie; Sharpie Fine Point; Sharpie Extra-Fine Point and Sharpie
Ultra-Fine Point.
