During October 2011, Sharpie donates ten cents from the sale of each special Pink Ribbon Sharpie marker to City of Hope for Breast Cancer research, treatment and education.

Beginning in 2010, Sharpie has recognized Breast Cancer awareness month with a call to "Ink It Pink" with Sharpie.
