Yellow ink is the only color that is being sold as open stock from Sharpie Liquid Highlighters and the rest are being packed in 5 or 10 count on assorted color.

I recently purchased the Chisel tip Sharpie Liquid Highlighter pack and I am curious as to why there is a metal spring in the cap. It does not appear to serve an actual purpose like a retractile ball point pen, it does not retract. Why is it there?

Hi, Susan. We have not tested Sharpie Liquid Highlighters to see if adding moisture inside will soften the ink. For optimum performance, we recommend storing the highlighters vertically with the clip up at normal room temperature.
