Hi, Chris. The drying time would depend on the surface to which the ink is applied. This applies to all of our products. Surfaces vary on how porous they are, and we do not know how much ink lay-down there will be (based on how "heavy-handed" the consumer is). The same applies for write length. Every time a consumer writes the results are dependent on how quickly, how firm and at what angle they write, as well as the surface on which they are writing. Our recommendation is for the consumer to test the marker on a practice piece of a similar or the same type of surface. Have a nice day!
