Hi, Robert. The drying time of Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers and all of our products varies significantly depending on the surface type, quantity of ink deposited and workplace temperature. Our recommendation is to test the paint markers on a practice piece of a similar or the same type of surface to determine drying time. We have also not tested the paint markers with stain, so testing will ensure product compatibility.
