Lightfastness rating is unavailable for Stained by Sharpie Fabric Markers. These markers are developed for optimal performance on most fabric surfaces. Please note, however, that there are many factors that determine how long ink will last, such as fabric type, temperature, and exposure to the elements.

Hi, Jan. Kindly be advised that every time a consumer writes, the results are dependent on how quickly, how firm and at what angle they write, as well as the surface on which they are writing. Bleed through can also be affected by these factors.

Can you make the color of these fabric markers bleed on fabric using rubbing alcohol? Many people do this with your regular sharpie permanent markers but apparently that ink does not set well on fabric.

Hi, Paola. Thanks for sharing your thoughts`with Sharpie. Since Stained by Sharpie Fabric Markers use water-based ink rather than alcohol-based ink, its quality differs from Classic Permanent Markers when exposed to alcohol. Nonetheless, your suggestion will be forwarded to our team. We greatly appreciate your support. Have a nice day!
