Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us. Stained by Sharpie Fabric markers are designed to work well on fabrics, but they may not completely cover or correct a sublimation mistake. Sublimation dye bonds with the fabric at a molecular level, so the markers might not fully mask the error. You can use the markers to add color or design on top of the sublimation, but keep in mind that the results might vary. As for setting the markers with a heat press, it should work fine to heat-set the ink. Be cautious with the heat and time settings to avoid damaging the fabric. It’s best to test on a small, inconspicuous area first. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Hello. Thank you for your question. Stained by Sharpie Fabric Markers with a brush tip can show up on black fabric, but the results might not be as vibrant as on lighter fabrics. These markers are designed to be used on fabric and should work, but the opacity and brightness can vary. For the best results on black or dark fabrics, you might want to use a white or light-colored fabric marker as a base layer and then go over it with colored markers if you need a more vivid effect. Hi! Thank you for your question. Yes, Stained by Sharpie Fabric Markers are non-toxic and lead-free. These markers are designed specifically for use on fabric and are labeled as being safe for children and adults. All Sharpie products carry the AP seal. On the barrel of our Sharpie markers, you can find ACMI, which stands for the Art and Creative Materials Institute. The ACMI is an organization that helps companies provide consumers with art materials for children and artists that are non-toxic. All products are required to undergo an extensive toxicological evaluation in order to be eligible to bear the ACMI seal. Therefore, our products are non-toxic however, we do not recommend using them on areas of items that may come in contact with food or the mouth.
