Rated 5 out of 5 by ErikSO from Industry standard. I use Sharpies in the kitchen constantly. So much so that if I need one anywhere else in the household I have to go searching in the kitchen. I find them to write cleanly, last a long time and mark permanently. I mostly use them for marking food that gets stored. The Sharpie ink is good in the freezer for far longer than I care to admit (I've also dated and frozen things other than food...mostly vintage photography film). This particular marker is large, and I find fits better in my hands if I'm using any sort of gloves. The tip is much bigger than the normal size.

I paint, but I love to use a good Sharpie to fill in small details or to hide flaws in the black paint. A lot of times I use the fine tip, but I decided to give this a shot on a larger section of canvas. I just love the versatility of these markers! I was able to fill in a small section of canvas without leaving streaks or the lines you sometimes see with each swipe of a marker. And then immediately use this to label freezer bags and Mason jars. The versatility of a Sharpie cant be beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MissyK17 from Giant! What a fantastic Sharpie! It's huge, but easy to write with and hold! I don't see it running out of ink anytime soon! I worried that the tip would be large as well when I first saw it, but it's a fine tip just like the smaller markers. I like to use it when I am packaging up meat in the kitchen. It's much easier to grab than a smaller one when my hands are wet, and easier to wipe off with a disinfecting wipe as well. I think I need one of these markers in every room, in my car, and purse. Sharpies are so handy anyway, and this giant one is the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ataraxia from Always Reliable! The Sharpie brand has been a staple in my house for as long as I remember and this version holds up to all of the others. The black ink is super dark and great for sign making and other projects. This particular marker is wider than the standard size, making it even easier for coloring in large areas. Sharpies write on so many different surfaces, making them one of the most versatile art mediums out there. I will continue to use these for years to come and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great, reliable permanent marker.

I had to send off my computer and I had needed a marker that wasn't too thin or too thick. The computer place wanted me to write something on the actual box itself to be sent back to them. This was perfect! While the pen itself is on the larger scale (I have small hands) the felt tip was just right. It allowed me to write clearly without it smudging. These are perfect to mark moving boxes. Sharpies are alway my go-to types of pens when I'm packing things up to store away.

These markers are perfect to label the bins in a nice, bold font. The thickness really makes things stand out and easy to read from a distance. My 12 year old also loves to use these for art projects because they give a nice bold line. I highly recommend these to use in a variety of ways. Anywhere from art, to crafts, to labeling!

It fits in your hand nicely, writing doesn’t smear at all and of course it’s permanent. Found these really helpful labeling different things around the house. Also, they are great to use for school projects. I like the fact that it’s a low odor marker. Doesn’t have much of a smell at all. Great marker that I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by cris4 from Excellent I like sharpie's they work awesome. I like that this one was bigger than the regular sized ones. It helped with making signs. Its great for outlining posters. Plus, the color is really sharp and bold. I use these for everything and the best part is that it takes a lot for them to ever dry out. You will probably end up buying more paper than ever have to replace a sharpie marker.

Please try the following steps:

Grip the cap: Hold the pen firmly in one hand and the cap in the other.
Twist and pull: While pulling, gently twist the cap to break any initial resistance. The cap should come off smoothly.
Check for any plastic wrapping: Some new markers have a clear plastic seal or wrap around the cap. If present, remove it first.

Sharpie Super Permanent Markers do not contain xylene. In the standard Sharpie markers, including the Super Permanent variety, the principal solvents are alcohols, which makes them safe for use on most surfaces.
