These are perfect for writing on cardboard, shipping boxes, moving boxes, or just any sign where you need a large tip to make writing or drawing numbers and shapes a breeze. The marker is very high-quality and works well. It takes just a second and is dry. The marker lasts through all kinds of projects. This is by far one of the handiest things I have in my house. I am constantly reaching for it for random projects. Need to tell people you are having a garage sale? I got you. Need to label these boxes so when you move you know what end is up? Got you. Only knocking a star off because this was listed as a set of 12 but only one arrived.

The markers & tips are huge & make a bold, thick impression regardless of the task. The markers work on both wet and dry surfaces making them very versatile & the cap clicks firmly into place alleviating any worry of the cap coming off in a bag or toolbox. The markers' performance is 5 stars all the way. For applications where bold lettering is needed, the Sharpie Pro is perfect to get the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty Sharpie!! This pen really will write on wet, oily surfaces! It's big and BOLD- need to make a protest sign? This is your pen. Need signs so everyone can find the meeting? Gotcha covered. Need to write DO NOT USE on a greasy part that was made wrong? I tried- this pen will do it. It has a nice big clip for your shirt pocket and a loop if you want to put it on a lanyard. Downsides? The ink is kinda smelly and the cap is airtight- while it keeps the ink fresh, it's hard to remove. If you need a PRO-size permanent marker, look no further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from #1 Permanent marker Sharpie® PRO Permanent Markers, Chisel Tip, Extra-Large Point, Black/Gray Barrel, Black Ink, Pack Of 12 Markers I like that Sharpie® PRO Permanent Markers come in a convenient Pack of 12 . I look for Sharpie® permanent markers when I want to write on moving boxes or storage boxes. The large point makes stuff easier to see when needing a large print. I know that I can trust Sharpie not to smear and have a nice bold color. I have found that Sharpie doesn’t dry out as fast as other brands I have used in the past.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice bold letters I used the Sharpie pro permanent marker to make Garage Sale signs last weekend, I figured the nice chisel tip would make a great bold lettered sign. However, I had a hard time getting the marker to write solid letters. The chisel tip made it so it was very streaky and not solid bold letters. I ended up having to use another marker and fill in the areas that the Sharpie missed. The Sharpie would be better used for smaller projects, maybe labeling totes and things like that.b BB

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice for labeling! Sharpie Pro Permanent Marker Set, Chisel Tip is a good sharpie for packing than a normal use. Though it’s chisel tip it is XL and it’s quite large. Working with boxing/shipping or for labeling boxes for moving I can see work a lot more but the ink and no bleeding for a large tip is nice. I found a purpose for it but for other things needed to be wrote on would be a normal sharpie. If you are moving or have a job/place where you write on boxes would be the go too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great markers This sharpie is what you need for everyday use. It is a really big marker, I can say it huge marker. This marker does write very well and writes on everything. It has a strong smell but that is ok for me. Love design so different and unique, and also it has a clip on the cover that you can clip on your pockets. I have been using this sharpie for many weeks and still write perfectly and didn't dry it out yet. This marker is perfect for school works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for marking boxes I recently moved a lot of boxes (about 50) from CA to WA. This Sharpie was great. Its chiseled point allows for the writing to be clear while the thick edge allows to more bolder writing (like FRAGILE). Even though the oblong handle took a little getting used to, after a few boxes it felt natural. This Sharpie is been used since then for mailing packages where I need to emphasize things it big, bold letters. A good, all-around marker.
