I didn't really like this marker.
I didn't really like this marker. It might be helpful in some situations, but not for what I was wanting to use it for.
Pros:
1) The ink is definitely more permanent than the regular Sharpie ink. A couple people in my family got it on their hands and they could not get it off. Also, I tested it with 70% ethanol. I often have to write on tubes that have been sprayed with 70% ethanol and no markers work on this. This marker worked a little, but not fully. It didn't wash off though when I sprayed in with ethanol after the marker had dried. This is an improvement over regular sharpies. I work in a lab, so I was hoping to use it to label our waste containers. It seems like it would hold up against the solutions when we spill some down the side.
Cons:
1) The ink takes forever to dry. Now I did use a lot because I was trying to mark out all the old label on the bottle.
2) The cap is horrible!!!!! It's practically impossible to open. I had trouble with it, so I had my dad and brother try to open it. They had a harder time with it than me. Also, the cap separates in to two pieces. The top part comes off and the marker won't open with that portion on it. The inner portion hurts you hands super bad. I ended up wrapping this in cardboard to be able to open the marker (see picture).
3) It's hard to write with because of how big it is. I haven't had issues with the king sized sharpies in the past, but this one just felt awkward to write with.
Overall, I don't think I can recommend this marker because I think there's a few things that need to be fixed before it could really be usable.

Great
I love the extra large point , It's great for different projects and seems like because it's so large it will last much longer than a regular sharpie .
Despite being larger it fits comfortably in my hand and works great.
The cap fits on so tightly you no longer have to worry about them drying out due to a cap issue , it clicks well so you know it's fully shut .
It's a great product to keep on hand.

Huge marker!
This marker is huge and works great. It is very rugged. I definitely do not have to worry about breaking it. The tip is extra large and can cover a lot of area. It is a very permanent marker. Once the black is on it is not coming off. I use these a lot at work in shipping to cover up bar codes before shipping my products. They last for a long time. I have recommended these to all my coworkers.

The sharpie chisel point has a nice and even ink trail, no streaking. The grip is ergonomic and comfortable. I like the air tight cap, knowing that the pen will last. Great for labeling boxes for the garage. I use it for blacking out bar codes/addresses on labels for old ebay envelopes -- that I reuse for selling product. Great chisel to have around, and probably my most used felt tip.

Works Great
Needed a new permanent marker and got the Sharpie PRO with the extra-large point. Very good coverage! It doesn't stink either, which is great. Using it, it really makes the signs I'm creating very noticeable and it took me far less time to create due to the extra large point. In addition to that, it has great ink coverage and it doesn't run. It's totally permanent for real.

Heavy duty permanent marker
The Sharpie® PRO Permanent Marker, Chisel Tip, Extra-Large Point, Black/Gray Barrel, Black Ink, is another fine Sharpie product. It has an extra large tip to make bold lettering; great for yard signs, class projects, woodworking projects etc. It is great for marking wook as it works on damp projects. Only issue i have is the top is hard to remove and replace.

EXTRA LARGE is right
These markers are for sure, no question, definitely extra-large. They are SO large that it takes a little bit of practice to get the lines smooth without any ink skipping. Once you get this down pat, they work excellent and don't smear or streak. I use them to write on plastic bags during the production of my soil products and it does the job well.

This is the largest tipped market I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s great for creating signs that need extremely large print. My wife uses it in her classroom to make anchor charts that can be seen all over her classroom. Her students have no problem seeing her large print signs. She definitely loves this Sharpie PRO Permanent Extra Large Tip Marker.

Nice Marker !!!
I got the Sharpie® PRO Permanent Markers, Chisel Tip, Extra-Large Point, Black/Gray Barrel, Black Ink for writing signs specialy. This Sharpie is a nice wide writing strong writing sharpie, it is so easy to write big words onto a sign. it is a nice even line. it is easy to handle the marker and the lid stays on nicely. I recommend it !

Nice marker
This marker is great for making signs, posters and such. One marker can do thin lines medium lines and thick lines that show up a long way down the road. I will be using this for my garden stand when my veggies and plants get ready to sell. My customers will be able to see what I have for sale before they stop to look.

Sharpie go Large with Pro Marker
When they say large they mean large! We do a lot of layout work and these will be a great addition to the tool bag. The over all construction of the marker is heavy duty to say the least. I have know doubts about how it will hold up to use we will put it through with the quality they put into this marker.

Very useful!
These markers are way bigger in person than I expected. They are perfect for posters, signs, etc. they came just in time to be used on my garage sale signs and I love them! The ink writes amazing and doesn’t run out fast like other markers. It definitely gives a bold look to whatever you use them on.

Extra large tio marker
Wow the tip of this is extremely wide.. I think the wider tips are great for making posters or signs .I like it pretty well though not a fan of the way it smells .. It writes pretty good . I wouldn't mind having it in different colors.. This is perfect for writing addresses on big packages too..

Love The Big Tip
This marker does a great job. If you're in any industry to has to mark up large or rough surfaces this is the Sharpie for you. They've improved the durability of the tip and it holds the ink well. I mark all kinds of weird surfaces that need something to hold up and this marker does it.

Great Marker
Received this a sample. Low order and a very large chisel tip. I also like the fact that it has a flat shape vs round like the old ones. Came in time for marking up moving boxes. The tip stayed in shape after using it on about a hundred boxes or so. Would recommend and buy some more.

This large black Sharpie pen let's you write large so that it's easy to read on a poster or box. It fits your had well and the cap snaps on as to keep the Sharpie from drying out. The clip on the lid is handy to attach it to your project so you don't lose it. Sharpie means quality.

I’ve used these markers to write on various things like labels and merchandise and they work out great. They seem to last long and I an even do narrow lines with ease.
I even used them on metal with no problem, along with labeling food containers and plastic bags. Very pleased.

I got this marker to use at work - I work in a warehouse and stage parts for jobs - this marker is great - i can easily and clearly mark boxes in two different sizes with this marker - no more filling in the letters to make them bigger - one pass with this marker and it is done

Don't put your face too close!
This thing is incredible! We use it for signs around campus. We do several events each year and need these for the posters. When used on neon cardboard, they really stand out, allowing people to see the writing as they approach. I hope they last a while, but will buy again!

Awesome marker. It says it can write on oily and wet surfaces so the first thing I tried was to use it on wet and oily surfaces and sure enough it worked great and didn’t wipe off. Highly recommend if you need something in a wet environment or write on oily surfaces often.

Big and bold
Perfect if you’re moving and labeling tons of boxes, the ink is nice and bold. The chisel tip is great for large strokes and the ink dries quickly.
For the pre-move garage sale signs it’s great for as well. You can make your writing big and bold or thinner with these.

Sharpies are the best
I use these mostly to write on cardboard boxes. Usually, marker tips dry up when writing so much on boxes, but this one doesn't. It's fantastic. I also use these markers to draw on paintings. I really have no problems with these markers and get them all the time

Brilliant job and hats off to SHARPIE for making a Black permanent marker that writes on just about anything! I love the wider tip for writing something big and bold. And the formulation of this ink allows me to write on wet & oily surfaces like it’s dry. Amazing!

I got my 1 Sharpie Permanent Marker today even thought it said pack of 12, 11 of the markers must of had other work to do. The 1 marker did work for every thing I wanted it to do and would buy again. I loved the way it fit into your hand and made it easy to use.

I received this product about a week ago and I love it! I didn’t think sharpies could get any bigger but they do! I was amazed on how big this sharpie is! The angled tip always helps when blacking out something on a box! Overall, I would highly recommend!

This marker is STRONG. Put a marker on whatever you need, give it a couple blows, and it’s stuck for good. Liquids don’t even seem to really faze it. The only complaint (some might see it as a pro so I won’t remove a star) is the cap is super tight.

This is a great marker. Very well made and will last a long time. It's the blackest black made. Fits good in the hand. It's a fat marker so it's easy to hang on to. I love it. Has a great tip on it so you don't make your letters to large.

Hi, Matt! You can try Amodex Stain Remover or rubbing alcohol to remove marks of Sharpie PRO Markers. Please note that we cannot guarantee stain removal since many variables can be involved such as surface type, colors, inks and time elapsed before removal. Testing first is always recommended.

Sharpie PRO Markers are recommended on wet, oily, abrasive, and nonporous surfaces. We also have Industrial Markers for metal, plastic, foil, film, and glass. It can withstand extreme heat, up to 500 &deg;F heat.
